Take their souls

Backstory
The concept was created by David Goggins and used by him during the Hell Week, the toughest week of the Navy Seal training of BUD/S program. One of the activity required David and his team to raise a boat towards the end of hell week when they were all broken. David turned to his crew and said they need to defy everything that his instructor expected. That is where they did it with more power than ever, his instructor looked at the crew as if his "soul was taken".

What is needed for this concept?
Requirement: a tough situation where someone expect you to be weak and barely perform at all, that is where you turn back and show them what you are made of. You take their souls.

How does it actually works?

Step 1. Think about a situation where there is someone expect you to be weak and incapable. Dive deep into their expectation of you.
→ Example: For David, it was the instructors' expectations of him and his crew, they were moving towards the end of Hell Week, one of the toughest feat that only a few people can achieve. They expected to see them weak, tired, suffer and would not be able to lift the boats.
→ For you, maybe a teacher that expect you to fail the class, or a coach that expect you to train barely the minimum.

Step 2. Think about how you can shatter everything they have ever expected, an action that they could never expect in their entire lifetime.
→ Example: Defying their expectations, David and his crew did the exercise more than they had to, they lifted it again and again, yelling out loud: "YOU CAN'T HURT BOAT CREW 2".
→ For you, take the teacher's soul by acing the class, take the coach's soul by practicing 2 or 3 hours before the training each and every day.

Step 3. Carry out the actions and take their souls.

Main function: Increase motivation and capability in a short amount of time.

Concept form: Exercise, Mindset
