The Frontier of Human Limit
The closest thing that can be considered a purpose for David Goggins is to embrace suffering, to do the things that suck until you have a callous mind, to continuously striving to be the best warrior you can become.

There is no other words around to describe who he is. He is a maniac that is willing to push himself to a point that 99.99% of human did not know that was possible. Coming from an abusive father that he had to work through out nighttime and go to school during the day, in the early adulthood, he also struggled from every aspect of his life and basically coped with it by eating and being big; he has demons that most human beings never knew of.

“From the time you take your first breath, you become eligible to die. You also become eligible to find your greatness and become the one warrior.” David Goggins

A Crazy One
Maniacal: David had probably came close to losing his life many times, if you have read his book, what he has done is going to the limits of human capabilities that we never knew of. If you're looking to do what no one has ever done before, or at least no one you know of has done it before, David is the one to follow.

Overcoming adversities: The past that David had to go through is one that has the most demons I have ever heard of, abusive father, run away with his mom with nothing, struggled in school, struggled in training, overcame extreme fear and incapabilities. A true role model for someone that is facing with setbacks and adversities.

A tough life purpose: from such demons that he came from, overcoming them made him an extremely tough person, for anyone that want to follow the same purpose, David is perfect.

Self Improvement Analysis

Backstory
The concept was created by David Goggins at the beginning of his physical transformation process, going from nearly 300 pounds to 190 pounds in just three months. It is one of the concepts that David himself is still using until today in my belief.

What is needed for this concept?
Requirement: at least a medium-sized mirror and some sticky notes.

How does it actually works?

Step 1. Write down on the sticky notes the main goals and visions that you are having in your mind.
→ At the most fundamental level of self improvement, we all have goals and visions we want ourselves to achieve - that is the essence of getting better.
→ Example: lose 5kg.

Step 2. Imagine every step you must take to accomplish that vision of yours and write these down on individual sticky notes.
This step will allow you to aim low enough that the pressure of failing would not stop you; and further enable you to envision the future which makes you accomplish your goals more efficiently.
→ Example: lose 2kg in week 1, lose 1kg in week 2, 3 and 4.

Step 3. At each morning after sleep and night before sleep, look at the goals and yourself in the mirror and have a little pep talk to hold yourself accountable for the goals that you have set.
→ Beliefs are formed more easily in the transition of sleeping and being awake, this will allow you not to get yourself the needed motivation but also the envision needed.

Main function: Increase motivation, drive, self-confidence.

Accountability mirror

Concept form: Exercise

Advance Uses
1. Sticky notes can be in other topics as well.

2. Laptops and PCs can be used as a mirror
3. Put some at the front door, and around your house.

David Goggins' Concepts

Backstory
The concept was created by David Goggins and used by him during the Hell Week, the toughest week of the Navy Seal training of BUD/S program. One of the activity required David and his team to raise a boat towards the end of hell week when they were all broken. David turned to his crew and said they need to defy everything that his instructor expected. That is where they did it with more power than ever, his instructor looked at the crew as if his "soul was taken".

What is needed for this concept?
Requirement: a tough situation where someone expect you to be weak and barely perform at all, that is where you turn back and show them what you are made of. You take their souls.

How does it actually works?

Step 1. Think about a situation where there is someone expect you to be weak and incapable. Dive deep into their expectation of you.
→ Example: For David, it was the instructors' expectations of him and his crew, they were moving towards the end of Hell Week, one of the toughest feat that only a few people can achieve. They expected to see them weak, tired, suffer and would not be able to lift the boats.
→ For you, maybe a teacher that expect you to fail the class, or a coach that expect you to train barely the minimum.

Step 2. Think about how you can shatter everything they have ever expected, an action that they could never expect in their entire lifetime.
→ Example: Defying their expectations, David and his crew did the exercise more than they had to, they lifted it again and again, yelling out loud: "YOU CAN'T HURT BOAT CREW 2".
→ For you, take the teacher's soul by acing the class, take the coach's soul by practicing 2 or 3 hours before the training each and every day.

Step 3. Carry out the actions and take their souls.

Main function: Increase motivation and capability in a short amount of time.

Concept form: Exercise, Mindset
